Q & A

Q: Who is eligible for the Reading Program on Demand (RPOD)?
A: RPOD is designed for caregivers of children aged 4–6 who are not yet reading or are experiencing early reading challenges.
Q: What is expected of me as a caregiver participating in the Reading Program on Demand (RPOD)?
A: As a caregiver, you are expected to complete the weekly lessons with your child(ren) at home before access to the course ends.
Q: How much time is needed to complete the program?
A: The program is 10 lessons. It is estimated that caregivers will spend an average of 90 minutes per week working through weekly lessons with their child(ren). However, RPOD is designed so that you can move through the materials at your pace, based on the needs of your child.
Q: Can I participate in the program with more than one child?
A: Yes! During registration, you can let us know if you'll be participating with more than one child—as long as each child is between 4–6 years old and would benefit from extra support in learning to read.

Between your Lit Kit and the RPOD platform, you have everything you need to participate in the program with one child or multiple children. Since the platform is made up of instructional videos, you can start and stop each lesson as needed to make sure each child gets the attention they need in order to learn.
Q: How long will I have access to the RPOD platform?
A: The recommended duration for completing this program is 10 weeks. However, you will have access for 20 weeks after you begin the program.
Q: How do I access RPOD program?
